This is the follow-up blog to “Like It Matters” which convinced me that my opinion actually does matter to people out in cyberspace. After more than 5,000 hits, I guess it’s time to take myself more seriously. I’m still going to keep “Like It Matter” open, but it will be opinion pieces about cultural stuff (Like It Matters started out with a blog on Michael Jackson. If I ever decide to write about Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton or other nebulous stars, that will be the place for it.) My hope is that this will be about people, places, and ideas that are important to me — ministry taking place somewhere, political issues, things I think the world should care about.
So, you ask, who am I? My name is John Madsen-Bibeau and I’m 51 years old, live in Connecticut, work in Massachusetts and a bit in CT, have 2 growing children and a wife. I am an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Massachusetts.
