Resistance Is Necessary

Saving What’s Important

The Proof Is In the Pudding.

I’m writing this because some internet troll got under my skin this morning, so I wanted to fall back into facts, not opinions.

I don’t have to “spin” opinions about Donald Trump’s claims or response as they have no bearing in truth whatsoever. As my grandmother used to say, “the proof is in the pudding”, meaning “you can see for yourself”.

So let’s say the proof is in the pudding. Let’s see.

“On day 1, “I will lower the cost of eggs”. Is the price of eggs lower than it was under Biden?

“I will bring peace to Ukraine and stop the war”. Is the war over? Does either Ukraine or Russia seem at peace?

“I will create jobs here in America. Unless you mean ICE workers, have you seen jobs being created?

“I will protect women, whether they like it or not”. As dozens of women speak to have the Epstein files released, do they seem protected to you?

“I will bring back America’s reputation around the world”. Does it seem like other countries respect us more since Trump got into office?

Trump called the day his tariffs hit, “Liberation Day”. Do you feel liberated?

Does the economy seem better to you? Has your stress level gone down now that Trump is in charge? Do you feel safer?

Do you feel better or worse about America watching people being disappeared? What about due process not being used?

Does America feel less divided under Trump?

Does Israel have peace yet? Have all the hostages been returned?

Has Trump kept one promise that you wanted him to keep? Or has only kept the ones you didn’t think he was capable of?

The proof is in the pudding.

Resisting With Peace,

John
