We hear, in this budget bill, and in daily news, “Millions” and “Billions” and, at times “Trillions” of dollars to be spent, cut, wasted, made, etc…..

In all of that, this gets lost. Proportionately this is what it looks like.

People who get an hourly wage:

Many states have a minimum wage of $7.25 per hour,

That’s $290 per week, 1257 per month, and 15080 per year

Some states have as much as 17.00 per hour, 680 per week , 2947 monthly, 35360 per year

The highest locality — Tukwilla, Washington gets 20.29 per hour. That is 811.60 weekly, 3516.94 monthly and 42,203.2 yearly.

* Hourly workers, then, make $15,080 to $42, 203 yearly

*Salaried Workers make from $49,170 per year in west Virginia to $76,600 in Massachusetts on average

*Senators and Representatives make $176,000 per year

plus healthcare and a better retirement plan than most Americans.

*The President of the U.S. makes a salary of $400,000 salary per year, paid monthly at 33,333 per month.

*So, the President is supposed to be paid TWICE the YEARLY SALARY of a laborer at minimum wage EVERY MONTH.
